Senior Buyer (Medtech)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid working model with 4 days from the office

What you will do

• Support global procurement operations, initially focusing on the Europe region, and manage indirect material spend across categories.
• Partner with stakeholders and Global Category Managers to understand business needs and align sourcing activities.
• Lead supplier selection and approval in line with sourcing policies and procedures.
• Negotiate supplier terms and agreements to secure business value.
• Deliver and report savings, identify efficiency improvements, and consolidate suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance across cost, quality, delivery, and contract compliance.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of buying or category management experience, ideally in indirect materials, with a successful procurement track record.
• Experience with indirect purchasing systems, including Coupa, and advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Understanding of sourcing strategy deployment and financial concepts, with the ability to build business cases.
• Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills, contract management experience, and an understanding of contract law.
• Fluent English and strong communication skills for engaging internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
