Regional Category Procurement Specialist - Films

Location: Lisle, Illinois, US; partial hybrid work with regular regional and occasional international travel required

What you will do

• Manage and develop relationships with regional film suppliers.
• Develop and execute the regional films category strategy and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive cost reduction, value engineering, and total cost of ownership initiatives.
• Monitor supplier performance through KPIs, scorecards, reports, and dashboards.
• Track supplier issues, coordinate corrective actions, and follow resolution plans.
• Collaborate with Quality, Product Management, Supply Chain, Operations, and R&D while monitoring market trends and supplier innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, or Supplier Management.
• Experience with supplier performance management, KPI development, large datasets, and management reporting.
• Hands-on experience extracting and analyzing procurement data from SAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power BI skills, with strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Fluent English required; availability for regular travel required.

Nice to have

• Experience in packaging, films, polymers, plastics, or manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of SAP procurement modules, including MM, Purchasing, and Vendor Management.
• Experience with supplier scorecards and procurement analytics.
• Spanish language skills.
