Capital Markets Business Systems Analyst (Banking)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, or Birmingham, Alabama, United States; onsite role.

Salary range target: $94,768.33–$121,201.50 USD annually, plus eligibility for a discretionary incentive plan.

What you will do

• Conduct business process analysis, needs assessments, and preliminary cost-benefit analysis to align IT solutions with business initiatives.
• Define specifications for moderately complex operating software applications and modify or maintain complex existing applications.
• Analyze existing and proposed systems and develop programs, systems, and procedures for data processing.
• Prepare problem-analysis charts, diagrams, program specifications, and coding logic flowcharts.
• Encode, test, debug, and install operating programs and procedures in coordination with computer operations and user departments.
• Review progress and evaluate results while working with minimal supervision and high attention to detail.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and six years of related experience, or a high school diploma/GED and ten years of experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Problem-solving and priority-management skills.
• May require participation in an after-hours and/or weekend on-call support rotation.

Nice to have

• Experience in banking or financial services.
• Application support experience, including troubleshooting.
• Previous project management and testing experience.
