Senior Software Engineer (Cloud Modernization)

Location: Jacksonville, Florida, United States; telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.

What you will do

• Engineer financial data exchange workflows, drop-file and NTB-file processing, software licensing systems, and automated processing for AFP and id2 financial file formats.
• Migrate legacy financial applications to AWS using EC2, S3, ElastiCache, and RDS, including distributed Redis-based session management.
• Modernize enterprise web applications with React and TypeScript while maintaining C# (.NET), jQuery, JavaScript, and CSHTML applications.
• Design and operate Jenkins CI/CD pipelines covering builds, testing, artifact management, multi-environment promotion, and quality and security gates.
• Implement enterprise technologies including SSO clients and manage SSL/TLS certificates through provisioning, renewal, revocation, and key rotation.
• Remediate vulnerabilities, enforce static code quality analysis, monitor application performance, and provide senior technical expertise for large-scale enterprise delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, plus five years of experience in the offered role or a related occupation.
• Alternatively, a Master’s degree in one of the listed fields plus three years of experience in the listed skills is accepted.
• Experience engineering automated financial data exchange and file-processing pipelines, including financial exchange workflow protocols, drop-file ingestion in cloud object storage, software licensing systems, industry-specific financial file parsing and transformation, and end-to-end troubleshooting of distributed processing failures.
• Experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines for automated, multi-environment enterprise application deployment, including automated builds, test execution, code-quality checks, and security gates.
• Experience with enterprise cloud compute, object storage, in-memory caching, managed relational databases, legacy application migration, architecture design, and distributed in-memory session management.
• Experience developing and modernizing enterprise C# (.NET) web applications with jQuery, JavaScript, CSHTML, React, and TypeScript using modular, component-based, API-driven architectures.
• Experience managing enterprise SSL/TLS certificate lifecycles, including provisioning, renewal, revocation, key rotation, encryption/decryption, and secrets and vault management.
• Experience with vulnerability assessment, secure code review, remediation, static code analysis, application security tools, performance monitoring, and observability tooling.
