Epic Systems Analyst - Ambulatory (Epic)

Location: Remote-based; Work At Home in Pennsylvania, United States. Travel requirement: 0%–25%.

What you will do

• Plan, design, build, test, implement, configure, and support Epic software, particularly Epic Ambulatory.
• Analyze and document system requirements, specifications, workflows, and user experience.
• Maintain Epic environments and applications, perform routine maintenance, update functionality, and implement new technologies.
• Provide guidance and support to end users, resolve system issues, and create training and implementation documentation.
• Contribute to and independently manage small to medium projects while providing timely updates to stakeholders.
• Perform problem-solving and root cause analysis for routine to moderately complex issues.

Requirements

• Three years of systems administration experience in one or more Epic modules.
• Experience with Epic Ambulatory.
• Three years of experience in the healthcare industry.
• Ability to perform analysis, design, system configuration, and testing at basic to moderate levels of complexity.
• Excellent customer service, critical thinking, written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of project management principles as they relate to assigned tasks.
• Associate’s degree, or two years of relevant work experience in lieu of the degree.
• Epic Application Certification within six months.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare, or a related field or relevant experience.
• Epic Ambulatory certification.
