Senior Software Business Analyst (Healthcare)

Location: Remote within the United States; travel may include up to 10% domestic or international travel. Relocation assistance may be authorized. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship. Work is not expected in the unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County.

Expected compensation: $107,600–$147,950, including base pay and variable incentive pay where eligible.

What you will do

• Elicit, document, analyze, and track business requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate business and product goals into clear, testable user stories, acceptance criteria, outcomes, increments, and team-level work.
• Own, maintain, and order the team backlog based on product goals, customer value, risk, dependencies, and learning needs.
• Balance features, defects, enablers, technical health, compliance, operational concerns, and discovery work.
• Partner with the Delivery Team, Product Manager, Product Leadership, UX stakeholders, and other stakeholders to split, clarify, and accept valuable increments.
• Communicate priorities, scope, decisions, and trade-offs; use feedback and delivery evidence to refine priorities and product direction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field and at least seven years of experience in product delivery, business analysis, product ownership, or a closely related role; alternatively, HS/GED and at least eleven years of related experience.
• Ability to translate business or product goals into clear outcomes, acceptance criteria, and ordered work.
• Ability to make timely decisions and explain trade-offs using customer value, evidence, risk, and product context.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written, verbal, communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge of iterative or agile product delivery practices and backlog management.
• Ability to collaborate effectively while maintaining accountability for team-level product decisions.
• Ability to work in complex delivery environments involving multiple stakeholders, multiple scrum teams, and multi-platform features requiring coordinated releases.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with customer-facing web solutions and customer journey workflows in collaboration with UX Designers and Researchers.
• Experience in Orthodontics, Dentistry, Healthcare, or another regulated industry.
• Experience with BDD/Gherkin acceptance criteria.
• Experience with Azure DevOps Boards.
• Self-starter mindset and desire to contribute to a high-performing team in a complex working environment.
