Head of IT Strategy (AI)

Location: Solna, Göteborg, Jönköping, Linköping, Malmö or Stockholm, Sweden. Alternative locations may be possible. The role requires travel to meet teams and stakeholders.

What you will do

• Lead, develop and engage employees while strengthening capabilities within the IT strategy area.
• Define and evolve hirify.global's enterprise-wide IT strategy and establish planning frameworks aligned with business strategy.
• Shape technology investment priorities, strategic roadmaps and prioritisation principles.
• Create transparency across strategic priorities, investments, dependencies and transformation initiatives.
• Support senior leaders with strategic decision-making and technology planning across a decentralised IT organisation.
• Strengthen strategic supplier relationships, portfolio insights and lifecycle investment decisions while monitoring technology trends.

Requirements

• Academic degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Strong people leadership and talent development skills.
• Extensive experience in IT strategy, business transformation or enterprise planning.
• Experience defining enterprise strategies and technology roadmaps.
• Experience establishing planning frameworks, portfolio review processes and investment prioritisation practices.
• Understanding of application, service and project portfolio management, including lifecycle considerations and dependencies.
• Strong understanding of IT strategy, technology investment planning, business-technology alignment, digitalisation, AI and emerging technology trends.
• Experience advising and influencing senior leaders in complex organisations, with strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience in large, complex and global organisations.
• Fluency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken.
• Successful completion of security vetting is required; additional citizenship obligations may apply for positions requiring security clearance.
