Production Supervisor

Location: Sorocaba, Brazil; onsite production role

Global manufacturing company producing industrial products and operating production facilities.

What you will do

• Administer and control production activities during the assigned shift, guiding teams in machinery and equipment operation, raw-material use, and production targets.
• Monitor manufacturing processes using instruments, panels, and statistical data, identifying required adjustments and directing corrective actions.
• Participate in predictive and preventive maintenance planning and follow up on execution according to production schedules.
• Propose improvements to working conditions, operating methods, equipment performance, productivity, and quality.
• Control the receipt and handling of raw materials and supplies in line with quality procedures and production plans.
• Prepare shift reports, manage team development and performance evaluations, and coordinate emergency, HSE, and disciplinary actions with relevant departments.

Requirements

• Completed high school, engineering, administration, or a related area.
• Ability to guide production teams and control activities across different production stages.
• Ability to work with manufacturing processes, production data, machinery, equipment, raw materials, and supplies.
• Ability to apply quality, environment, occupational safety, health, and HSE procedures.
• Ability to provide emergency instructions, enforce the use of collective protection and personal protective equipment, and control environmental and safety risks.
• Ability to prepare operational and administrative reports and communicate production-cycle data.
• Ability to support performance evaluations, career-plan matrices, technical and machinery development, and corrective or disciplinary actions.
