Software Engineer II, Fullstack (Repayment UX)

Location: Remote Poland; most roles can be located anywhere in Poland.

Base pay: 259,000–379,000 zł. New hire equity: $24,000–$36,000 USD; annual refresh: $7,500; flexible spending wallets reimbursable up to 1,390 zł per month.

What you will do

• Break down larger projects into tasks, deliver them in phases, and collaborate with the team to ensure timely delivery.
• Partner with product management, design, and analytics on ideation, technical constraints, risks, trade-offs, and product decisions.
• Create and monitor operational metrics, escalate issues, and support on-call and service-availability efforts.
• Contribute to team growth and development, including participation in the interview process.
• Build and own user journeys that support repayment of loans at significant scale.

Requirements

• 1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems, with proficiency in Python or Kotlin.
• Experience shipping web applications with declarative UI frameworks such as React or Vue.
• Ability to navigate a large codebase, debug existing code, and provide feedback through code reviews.
• Ability to turn a business scenario or simple problem into a solution spanning multiple software components, using clear, well-tested, extensible code.
• Demonstrated ownership of professional growth and proactive feedback-seeking from teammates, managers, and stakeholders.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with a global engineering team.

Nice to have

• Experience developing and architecting mobile applications, preferably with declarative UI frameworks such as React Native.
