Manager, Technical Project Management

Location: Remote - Hungary; Portugal also available. The role coordinates with globally distributed teams with a primary presence in Europe.

What you will do

• Lead and develop the Technical Project Management team to drive consistent delivery, execution, and accountability across engineering.
• Establish and evolve delivery practices that improve predictability, transparency, planning, execution, and validation at scale.
• Coach team members through feedback, performance management, career growth planning, and strategic hiring.
• Partner with engineering and product leaders to align delivery expectations, manage risks, and ensure successful outcomes.
• Help teams define work, structure execution, resolve ambiguity, and maintain momentum.
• Drive AI-enabled and innovative delivery approaches and effective coordination across time zones.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading delivery-focused teams within a software development environment.
• Strong background in project or program management, including delivery of complex, cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align technical and business teams.
• Proven ability to coach, develop, and hire team members and build capable, diverse delivery teams.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and the ability to work effectively with engineering teams.
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments and bring clarity, structure, and direction.
• Continuous improvement mindset focused on team effectiveness and delivery practices.
• Curiosity and openness to challenge existing ways of working and develop more effective approaches.
