Project Manager (Content Acquisition)

What you will do

• Coordinate software delivery initiatives across multidisciplinary teams, accounting for dependencies, risks, stakeholder requirements, priorities, and business objectives.
• Create delivery plans, track commitments, maintain current plans and artefacts, and report project status, deviations, and issues.
• Facilitate planning, refinement, roadmap, retrospective, workshop, inception, and other agile meetings.
• Support teams in making decisions, delivering high-value functionality frequently, and applying agile best practices.
• Facilitate the creation and monitoring of quarterly goals, using data-driven forecasting for strategic delivery and capacity planning.
• Mentor and support individuals and teams while fostering collaboration, ownership, empowerment, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Significant industry experience in a leadership role across a variety of software projects.
• Project management experience in the software engineering industry, with the ability to manage and deliver initiatives across multiple teams.
• Experience with agile initiatives or a strong, demonstrable understanding of agile software development processes in multidisciplinary teams.
• Expertise in lean and vertical slicing of user stories to enable continuous delivery of user value.
• Proven leadership experience guiding and aligning teams across multiple streams of work.
• Technical knowledge sufficient to engage effectively in technical discussions and decisions.
• Exceptional communication skills, including adapting communication to different audiences and facilitating cross-team alignment.
• Deep understanding of agile methodologies and the ability to assess and apply suitable frameworks across teams in different contexts.
• Experience tracking project progress, reporting actionable information, facilitating ceremonies and workshops, and using agile project management systems, particularly Jira and monday.com.

Nice to have

• Experience managing several projects or release cycles in a delivery capacity, preferably with multidisciplinary teams that are both co-located and distributed.
