Senior Full Stack Engineer

Location: Remote within the United States, with occasional travel to hirify.global offices for training or meetings; dedicated workspace and internet service with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload required.

Salary: $106,900–$147,000 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications for the Information Marketplace and enterprise data governance platform.
• Build React and TypeScript front-end interfaces and scalable Node.js backend services and APIs.
• Contribute to microservices, API, and UI framework architecture with emphasis on scalability, security, performance, reliability, and usability.
• Integrate metadata services, enterprise APIs, analytics platforms, and third-party tools.
• Troubleshoot complex application issues, identify root causes, and implement long-term fixes.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, data engineers, and governance teams; participate in code reviews and contribute to CI/CD, containerization, and automated testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in application development or full-stack engineering, ideally 8 or more years.
• At least 1 year of experience developing applications with Go and/or Python, ideally 2 or more years.
• Experience developing production web applications and full-stack web applications.
• Ability to evaluate challenges, identify practical solutions, and manage responsibilities proactively.
• Experience using AI and AI coding tools to accelerate the development lifecycle.
• Ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team environment.
• Experience with cloud environments, especially Azure, and Agile/Scrum teams.
• Required skills include Node.js, React.js, TypeScript, Python and/or Go, REST API development, and Git-based source control.

Nice to have

• Experience working on enterprise applications.
• Experience building developer platforms, data platforms, or internal tools.
• Master's degree in computer science or a related field.
• Experience with Redux or modern state management frameworks, Tailwind CSS or similar UI styling frameworks, Sequelize ORM or similar data access frameworks, Docker/containerization, YAML-based or similar CI/CD pipelines, microservices architectures, enterprise API or data platform integrations, and WebAssembly or performance-focused web technologies.
