Senior Technical Program Manager, Solutions (SaaS)

Location: Berlin, Germany; hybrid role requiring work from the Berlin office 3 days per week. The role supports solutions in the DACH region: Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Salary: €77,000–€96,300 gross annually in Germany; discretionary bonuses and/or equity may also apply.

What you will do

• Own internal program plans for DACH deliveries, including scope, schedules, milestones, definitions of done, and cross-team dependencies.
• Establish and maintain program governance, accountability, decision levels, and reporting.
• Coordinate Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, Space Systems, Customer Success, and customer-facing program management teams.
• Translate customer requirements into technical requirements and work with Product Managers to prioritize roadmap requests.
• Run cross-team operating rhythms, go/no-go decisions, release coordination, stakeholder communications, and risk escalation.
• Improve ways of working so future platform deployments become faster and more repeatable.

Requirements

• 6+ years of program management or software development experience in SaaS, cloud platforms, data products, or geospatial systems. Remote sensing and satellite domain experience is ideally included.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Native-level fluency in written and spoken German and professional working proficiency in English.
• Experience leading complex technical programs across matrixed organizations and setting priorities independently, including programs with contractual commitments to external customers.
• Experience across the product lifecycle, from concept and development through launch preparation, go-to-market, deprecations, and end-of-life.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills, with the ability to communicate findings and recommendations.
• Ability to explain analyses and recommendations to business leaders and discuss technical trade-offs with engineers.
• Ability to balance tactical day-to-day execution with forward-looking improvements to operational efficiency.

• Experience with public-sector customers in the DACH region.
• Experience with sovereign, private-cloud, or on-premises platform deployments.
• Experience with remote sensing, Earth observation data, or geospatial systems.
• Experience working with remote, worldwide teams.
