Reinsurance Claims Adjuster (Marine & Aviation)

What you will do

• Investigate, evaluate, and resolve reinsurance claims promptly and accurately, including complex coverage matters.
• Set accurate reserves and confirm that base premiums and applicable reinstatement premiums are received or calculated before claim payments.
• Update company systems and respond to claim settlements and advices within agreed timeframes.
• Identify and investigate coverage issues while managing an efficient personal caseload.
• Provide effective service to internal and external customers.
• Produce regular statistical and analytical reinsurance information for stakeholders monitoring their portfolios.

Requirements

• Strong claims experience, preferably in reinsurance and preferably with Marine & Aviation experience.
• Excellent investigative skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Competent use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of the London Market and ECF/Writeback.
