Account Manager (Academia & Government)

Location: Hybrid in Hong Kong, Hong Kong; working hours are 9:00–18:00 Hong Kong time, Monday to Friday.

hirify.global provides academic content, research data products, software, and other products to customers in the Academia and Government sector.

What you will do

• Acquire new sales in the assigned territory.
• Expand the customer base across the Academia and Government sector.
• Protect and grow renewal business.
• Promote hirify.global products, including academic content, research data products, and software.
• Communicate and work with librarians and researchers.

Requirements

• At least 3–5 years of experience selling academic publishing or data products.
• Professional selling skills and experience communicating and working with librarians and researchers.
• Experience using analytical and office tools, including cloud-based office tools, CRM solutions, and Power BI.
• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Required languages: Cantonese, English, and Mandarin.

Nice to have

• More than 5 years of selling experience for major academic publishing or technology companies.
• More than 3 years of experience communicating and working with librarians and researchers.
• Experience selling hirify.global products.
