Junior Recruiter (German-Speaking)

Location: Berlin, Germany (hybrid); must be based in Berlin, have the right to work in Germany, and be able to work from the office. Evening and weekend shifts are required regularly.

What you will do

• Contact new applicants within 24 hours and provide a clear, friendly introduction to the company and role.
• Conduct short screening calls and pass qualified candidates to the next stage.
• Manage a high volume of outbound calls and follow-ups, including evening and weekend coverage.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information in Personio.
• Share feedback with the Head of People to improve call scripts and recruitment results.

Requirements

• Fluent German and fluent spoken and written English.
• Based in Berlin with the right to work in Germany and availability for hybrid office work.
• Availability for regular evening and weekend shifts.
• Some experience in a people-facing role such as sales, customer service, hospitality, retail, or call centre work.
• Confidence on the phone and the ability to build rapport with different people.
• Resilience and an upbeat approach when handling high call volumes and rejection.
• Organisation and reliability when managing multiple candidate conversations.

Nice to have

• Previous recruiting or talent acquisition experience.
• Experience with Personio or a similar HR system or CRM.
