Testchip Product Development Engineer (ATE)

Location: On-site in Penang, Malaysia; Shift 1 (Malaysia)

What you will do

• Develop testability and manufacturability solutions for integrated circuits from feasibility through production ramp.
• Validate and debug test methods and automatic test equipment to support product performance and reliability.
• Develop test flows, methodologies, hardware solutions, and software programs for production testing and test equipment management.
• Analyze component functionality, device characterization, production yield, and datasheet specifications.
• Collaborate with fab, assembly, quality, design, development, and manufacturing teams during high-volume manufacturing ramp.
• Lead manufacturing readiness activities and support engineering milestones for new product introductions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 0–1 years of hands-on domain experience demonstrated through internships, academic projects, coursework, or hands-on training, or a master’s degree in a relevant field with no prior professional experience.
• Proficiency in programming languages used in test development, such as Python, C, or C++.
• Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with automatic test equipment and device characterization techniques.
