Large Format System Interaction Engineer, NPDI

Location: Singapore, South West, Singapore. Onsite role with occasional travel of 25%; no relocation offered.

What you will do

• Partner with stakeholders across the business and collaborate with worldwide teams to align SKU strategies and create or modify NPI Acumen templates.
• Identify customer needs, define future product requirements, and translate complex technical information into actionable insights.
• Develop and validate system-level interactions for Ink Level Gauge and End Of Supply Life testing to meet customer experience objectives.
• Develop and validate Printhead and Supplies security feature integration for new products with Engineering and Authentication and Security teams.
• Own autopsy, triage, failure tracking, failure analysis coordination, reporting, and follow-up actions for failed printheads and supplies.
• Support printhead manufacturing qualification, technology transfer, production readiness, technical documentation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Materials, Chemical Engineering, or a relevant field.
• Technical breadth and a systems approach, with the ability to identify connections in dynamic or ambiguous situations.
• Demonstrated analytical and empirical problem-solving skills.
• Growth mindset, flexibility, and adaptability.
• Ability to work across multiple time zones and with groups inside and outside the immediate work team.
• Availability for occasional travel of 25%.
• Two-year contract with renewable opportunities.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in print testing.
• Knowledge of pen system issues and failure analysis techniques.
