Engineer, Production Control (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Penang, Malaysia; onsite role with 12-hour day/night shift rotation, overtime support, and remote participation in some qualification and process-improvement activities.

What you will do

• Review and analyze SPC and FDC charts according to CAS modules and SOPs.
• Review setup data and release tools in accordance with the applicable SOP.
• Troubleshoot process-related issues and provide accurate pass-downs for tool and process inhibits, lot disposition, line issues, and documentation.
• Assist engineers with qualification, process-improvement projects, new-process implementation, and new-equipment qualification, including remote activities.
• Coordinate with PE, EAE/EE, technicians, ME, and other modules to ensure work follows SOPs and meets module objectives.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects to improve process robustness, cost efficiency, and capacity efficiency.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Microelectronics, Chemical Process Engineering, Chemistry, or Physics.
• 1–2 years of working experience in the electrical or electronics industry.
• Good teamwork skills, willingness to learn new skills, initiative, and accountability.
• Good interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Ability to perform 12-hour day/night rotating shifts to support operations.
• Flexibility to support overtime.
