Director, Applications, Lab Systems (Healthcare)

Location: Onsite across listed U.S. locations, including Sacramento, California; Phoenix, Arizona; Little Rock, Arkansas; Centennial, Colorado; Plantation, Florida; Lawrenceville, Georgia; Boise, Idaho; Springfield, Illinois; Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Lansing, Michigan; St. Paul, Minnesota; Clayton, Missouri; Missoula, Montana; Carson City, Nevada; Trenton, New Jersey; Raleigh, North Carolina; Columbus, Ohio; Salem, Oregon; Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; Columbia, South Carolina; Knoxville, Tennessee; Dallas, Texas; Salt Lake City, Utah; Richmond, Virginia; and Olympia, Washington. Schedule is Monday–Friday during day shifts, with weekend work as needed.

Salary: $181,875.20–$291,012.80 annually in California, New Jersey, and Washington; $165,339.20–$264,555.20 annually in Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Virginia; $148,824.00–$238,118.40 annually in Arizona, Arkansas, Idaho, Louisiana, Missouri, Montana, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Utah.

What you will do

• Direct the full systems development lifecycle for enterprise applications supporting services and implementations.
• Lead ongoing software, environment, and process support to maintain data quality and integrity.
• Monitor application functionality and usage across hirify.global and its affiliates.
• Develop and promote evolving application and process best practices across affiliates.
• Lead teams and initiatives in environments that may be resistant to change.
• Communicate with clients, information systems teams, management, executives, and subject matter experts through collaboration and presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience may substitute for the required degree or diploma.
• 12 years of recent relevant experience.
• Expert technical and business knowledge of software development lifecycle, quality assurance, and project management.
• Expert knowledge of specifying user requirements.
• Expert knowledge of healthcare operations and structure.
• Expert understanding of hospital inpatient and clinic outpatient operations.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with clients, information systems team members, management, and executive personnel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for working with executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities and assignments, analyze information and problems, formulate logical conclusions, build and lead teams, and deliver persuasive or instructional presentations.
