Finance Transformation Professional (Insurance)

What you will do

• Interview and facilitate workshops with CFOs and senior leaders across Finance, Accounting, Actuarial, Treasury, FP&A, Regulatory Reporting, and Technology.
• Define the Finance Platform North Star, target operating model, and transformation roadmap.
• Assess finance processes, data, controls, and systems to identify transformation and simplification opportunities.
• Connect Finance, Actuarial, Operations, Data, and Technology into an integrated future-state design.
• Translate business challenges into capabilities and collaborate with product and technology teams on future architecture.
• Identify opportunities for automation, advanced analytics, and AI across Finance while advising senior client executives.

Requirements

• Significant experience at the intersection of Finance, Insurance, and Transformation.
• Background in finance leadership, controllership, finance transformation, business architecture, senior finance specialization, or advisory work.
• Strong finance and accounting expertise and experience with complex finance transformations.
• Ability to work credibly with CFO-level stakeholders.
• Experience connecting Finance with Actuarial, Risk, Operations, and Technology is valuable.
• Ability to define how Finance should operate in the future rather than only document current processes.

Nice to have

• U.S. health insurance or payer finance experience.
• Experience with insurance finance, financial subledgers, SAP FPSL, or comparable platforms.
