Director of Finance & Accounting

Location: Remote - United States; Atlanta, GA; Houston, TX; Miami, FL; Philadelphia, PA; Raleigh, NC; Tampa, FL. The role can operate 100% virtually from a home office. For established global locations, candidates must have current work authorization and permanently reside in Canada, Mexico, or the UK.

hirify.global is a B2B performance marketing agency using Customer Generation to drive pipeline, sales-qualified leads, and growth for SaaS and other B2B companies through paid media, SEO, CRO, RevOps, and go-to-market strategy.

What you will do

• Oversee a timely, GAAP-compliant five-day financial close, financial reporting, and department P&Ls.
• Design and enforce accounting policies, internal controls, and segregation of duties.
• Manage treasury, banking relationships, cash levels, and a 13-week cash-flow forecast.
• Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable, reduce overdue receivables, and escalate issues when needed.
• Oversee revenue recognition for retainer and project-based client contracts and prepare FP&A reporting supporting gross-margin and adjusted EBITDA targets.
• Lead the Controller and improve financial systems, reporting automation, labor utilization, cost management, tax planning, and investment visibility.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, including at least 5 years in a leadership position within performance marketing agencies.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial management systems.
• Proven ability to hold business units accountable to budgets and goals.
• Solid understanding and experience with tax regulations and compliance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• Experience in a digital agency or similar services-related industry.
