Manager, Treasury

Location: Hybrid in Boston, MA with 3 days per week in the office, or fully remote for candidates located on the East Coast of the United States. Candidates based on the East Coast are preferred, ideally in Boston.

Salary: $140,000–$180,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Manage key aspects of the monthly financial close, including journal entries, supporting documentation, general ledger reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Oversee cash, restricted cash, accounts receivable, accrued campaign and incentive spend accounts, customer collections, and creator disbursements across multiple entities and banking platforms.
• Coordinate external audits, manage selected balance sheet and cost-of-sales accounts, and identify and mitigate accounting and financial reporting risks.
• Lead cross-training and ensure backup coverage for treasury and accounts receivable functions.
• Improve accounting systems, procedures, reporting, automation, and AI-enabled financial operations in collaboration with Systems Engineering and Data.
• Partner with FP&A, Customer Service, Systems Engineering, Data, and other Finance teams to resolve discrepancies, improve processes, and deliver integrations and ad hoc projects.

Requirements

• Based on the East Coast of the United States.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of treasury and general ledger accounting experience.
• 3+ years of people management experience.
• Experience managing teams and working effectively in highly collaborative environments.
• Strong accounting systems experience; NetSuite and Salesforce are strongly preferred.
• Experience preparing multiple account reconciliations with strong attention to detail.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to set priorities and manage multiple demands in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Stripe and Tipalti in a corporate environment.
• Experience in the SaaS or technology industry.
• Experience using Claude, ChatGPT, or other generative AI tools for analysis, research, reporting, or workflow efficiency.
• CPA, CTP, or MBA.
