Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in a manufacturing office setting; occasional travel to customer and supplier sites may be required.

What you will do

• Apply engineering expertise in a manufacturing office environment.
• Use Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools.
• Work within the facility, including duties involving standing, lifting up to 15 pounds, bending, reaching, and moving around the site.
• Travel to customer and supplier sites when required.
• Work in conditions that may include heat, cold, wet environments, and fumes or chemicals.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
• BSME or an engineering bachelor’s degree from an ABET-accredited school or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role, including sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, using hands, and occasionally lifting up to 15 pounds.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Registered professional engineer status.
