Manufacturing Engineer - Factory Development (AI Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Texarkana, Texas, United States. Occasional travel of up to 35% is required. ITAR eligibility requires U.S. citizenship or nationality, lawful permanent residence, protected individual status, or eligibility to obtain required U.S. Department of State authorizations.

What you will do

• Own critical manufacturing projects from inception through completion, analyzing operational and technical challenges and deploying effective solutions.
• Perform root cause analysis and lead sustainable solutions to complex manufacturing problems.
• Identify factory areas requiring systematic improvement and develop pragmatic solutions that inform future software development.
• Redesign existing processes and introduce new production processes and assets to increase production rates and add new capabilities.
• Support rapid scaling of manufacturing operations through project management, system building, and technical problem-solving.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a relevant STEM field; alternatively, at least 5 years of leadership experience in a high-intensity production environment may be considered.
• Hands-on manufacturing experience, preferably including leadership of meaningful projects.
• Experience developing and implementing production processes or systems in a high-growth environment.
• Proven project execution experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Demonstrated ability to solve deep technical or operational problems.
• Ability to travel occasionally, up to 35% of the time.
• Must meet applicable ITAR eligibility requirements for the role.

Nice to have

• Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience applying software approaches such as SQL, VBA, or Python.
