Senior Web Application Developer (Vue/Python)

Location: Hybrid in Denver, Colorado, United States. Monday and Thursday are remote; Tuesday and Friday are in the office; Wednesday is scheduled weekly/monthly. Typical office hours are 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Applicants must already be eligible to work for any U.S. employer without company sponsorship.

Salary: $135,000–$165,000 base salary per year, plus benefits.

What you will do

• Design and implement robust, scalable real estate web applications using Vue 3 and Python with Flask or FastAPI.
• Lead development of new features and improvements while contributing to architecture decisions and technology selection.
• Mentor developers, conduct rigorous code reviews, and promote high-quality development practices.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs integrating internal and external services.
• Define standards, guardrails, and boundaries for using AI coding agents on production code and system-of-record data.
• Troubleshoot complex full-stack issues and ensure application security, performance, reliability, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience building and maintaining production web applications.
• A related bachelor's degree or commensurate experience.
• Strong working knowledge of a modern JavaScript framework and a Python web framework.
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication.
• Experience mentoring developers and leading technical projects.
• Experience directing AI coding agents on production code, reviewing generated code rigorously, and exercising judgment about appropriate use.
• Ability to collaborate across functions, translate business requirements into technical solutions, communicate openly, accept feedback, and maintain attention to detail.
• Ability to reason about data models, data integrity, and trends or gaps in critical system-of-record data.

Nice to have

• Production experience with Vue 3 and FastAPI or Flask.
• Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs across internal and external integrations.
• Experience owning architecture decisions and technology selection.
• Experience in real estate, mortgage, banking, PropTech, or real estate brokerage.
• Title and escrow or closing industry experience.
• Enterprise SaaS experience at multi-tenant scale.
• Open-source contributions, talks, or writing demonstrating technical thinking.
