Junior Software Developer (Vue)

Location: Columbia, MD, US, or Annapolis Junction, MD, US; hybrid with telework up to one day per week.

Salary: $130,000–$150,000 annualized USD.

What you will do

• Collaborate with a team of three developers to enhance the Tracking Repository for Incoming Orders application.
• Write code, develop features, maintain the application, fix bugs, and resolve user issues.
• Improve system performance and develop monitoring tools that detect potential issues before outages.
• Manage Docker containers to support application deployment, scaling, and development workflows.
• Diagnose and resolve code, infrastructure, and data issues while protecting sensitive data and maintaining system integrity.
• Participate in Agile planning, stand-ups, and iterative delivery while adapting to changing requirements.

Requirements

• TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and three years of software development or engineering experience; seven years of software development or engineering experience may substitute for the degree.
• Experience with front-end technologies, including JavaScript.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• Experience developing and updating technical documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience in an Agile development environment and managing the full SDLC, including requirements definition, design, development, testing, deployment, and sustainment.
• Experience with Java, Django, VueJS, AWS, PostgreSQL, Docker, Vuetify, or Vite.
• Familiarity with CI/CD.
