Software Developer (Vue)

Location: Tonawanda, New York, United States; on-site; travel up to 20% domestically and internationally

Salary: $90,000–$132,000 per year; 9% variable compensation; a sign-on bonus may be offered

What you will do

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand complex operational challenges and turn them into effective technical solutions.
• Contribute to full-stack development of large-scale operational software, including database design, backend APIs, and frontend user experiences.
• Modernize and continuously develop the technology stack.
• Balance new solution development with maintenance and support of existing tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Seven or more years of software development experience, including work with ambiguous, high-level requirements.
• Ability to partner with non-technical stakeholders to clarify problems and define solutions.
• Full-stack development experience, including designing and architecting modern web applications from the ground up.
• Proficiency in frontend development with modern single-page applications.
• Strong backend development skills in Python.
• Expertise in relational database schema design, querying, and performance tuning.
• Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.

• Experience with Vue.js.
• Familiarity with FastAPI.
