Senior Technical Recruiter (AI)

Location: Remote in the United States or Canada

Salary: $150K–$200K plus equity

What you will do

• Own 8–10 engineering and technical searches end to end, from kickoff through signed offer.
• Partner with engineering hiring managers to define role requirements and challenge requirements that do not match market realities.
• Proactively source infrastructure, backend, SDK, and AI engineers who are not actively looking.
• Understand candidate motivations and develop strategies to attract and close strong candidates.
• Build repeatable talent pipelines for recurring engineering roles.
• Run a clear, authentic, candidate-focused process and improve Talent team systems, including sourcing playbooks and interview kits.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, primarily in-house.
• Experience owning and closing senior- and staff-level engineering searches.
• Ability to hold substantive conversations with engineers about their work.
• Proactive sourcing skills and experience building and maintaining strong talent pipelines.
• Recruiting experience in infrastructure, developer tools, open source, or AI companies.
• Experience building or rebuilding a recruiting process from scratch.
• Ability to attract top talent while competing with offers from big tech.
• Experience using Ashby and Gem, or strong opinions about comparable recruiting tools.
