Senior Technical Talent Partner (AI)

Location: San Mateo, California; hybrid with four days per week in the office. Relocation assistance is available for employees moving to the Bay Area.

Salary: $140,000–$180,000 per year. Starting pay depends on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and interview performance.

What you will do

• Own full-cycle recruiting for senior and specialized technical roles across research, ML engineering, and infrastructure.
• Run proactive sourcing to engage passive candidates, including researchers from leading labs, PhD programs, and high-growth AI companies.
• Partner with hiring managers and technical leaders to define roles, calibrate hiring standards, and design predictive interview loops.
• Lead offer strategy and candidate closing, including equity discussions and competing offers.
• Use data to monitor pipeline health, identify bottlenecks, and keep leaders informed.
• Build scalable recruiting processes, tools, and playbooks while mentoring recruiting teammates.

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical recruiting experience, including meaningful experience at a startup or high-growth technology company.
• Proven success hiring strong technical talent.
• Strong sourcing instincts and creativity in reaching passive candidates.
• Technical fluency sufficient to hold credible conversations with engineers and researchers.
• Confidence advising hiring managers and pushing back when it improves the outcome.
• Experience closing complex offers, including equity and competitive situations.
• Comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward building, measuring, and improving.
