Technical Recruiter (AI)

Location: Remote, United States

Base salary: $130,000–$170,000 annually; may also be eligible for equity.

What you will do

• Build a high-velocity recruiting engine for technical talent across R&D teams.
• Manage the full recruiting lifecycle across technical roles and teams.
• Create positive candidate experiences throughout the recruiting process.
• Develop sourcing strategies, conduct market research, and personalize outreach to attract diverse technical talent.
• Analyze recruiting metrics, pass rates, conversion rates, and market data to improve hiring strategies and provide actionable feedback to hiring managers.
• Continuously improve recruiting processes and operate as the direct owner of assigned positions, with targets including 3–4 hires within the first 90 days.

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical recruiting experience in high-growth, US-headquartered technology startups.
• Proven experience hiring hard-to-fill technical roles, using sourcing tools, conducting market research, and developing personalized outreach strategies.
• Ability to analyze and interpret recruiting metrics, conversion rates, and market data and use the insights to refine strategies.
• Ability to quickly understand new roles and requirements, with flexibility, curiosity, and a high tolerance for change in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication skills for working with hiring managers, providing updates, managing expectations, building trust, and acting as a strategic hiring partner.
• Strong persistence and a results-oriented mindset for following up on passive leads and meeting ambitious outreach targets.
• AI fluency is expected, including using AI to accelerate workflows, structure and solve problems, improve output quality, and increase speed and leverage.

Nice to have

• Experience sourcing for Data Science, Backend, Frontend, Full-Stack, Infrastructure, and/or Security teams.

Hiring process

• Recruiter introduction covering qualifications, motivation, and role alignment, followed by a hiring manager deep dive and first-round interviews.
• Final-stage hands-on case study, usually in a panel format, plus references and an offer stage.
• Most interview processes include a case study, an AI skills assessment, and a Leadership Principles interview. AI tools such as interview assistants and real-time coaching tools are not permitted without prior approval.
