Group Underwriting Performance Analyst (Insurance)

What you will do

• Support core underwriting performance reporting for the Group Chief Underwriting Officer.
• Own strategic projects and provide visibility into key areas of business performance.
• Work across hirify.global’s global portfolio, from personal lines policies to catastrophe reinsurance deals.
• Identify opportunities and risks affecting business-plan delivery and formulate strategies to close performance gaps.
• Partner with business-unit underwriting management teams and senior stakeholders, providing constructive challenge on technical topics.
• Translate detailed modelling and analysis into clear business implications and support ongoing course correction.

Requirements

• Insurance knowledge, preferably across at least two markets in which hirify.global operates.
• Five or more years of experience, as a guide only.
• Ability to build stakeholder networks at all levels, including business-unit CUOs, and engage constructively on technical topics.
• Ability to own analysis from detailed modelling through to the key business implications.
• Strong understanding of an insurance P&L.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Clear and concise communication skills.
• Calm and effective performance under pressure, strong organisation, curiosity, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks across teams.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Power BI or Tableau.
• Background as a pricing analyst, underwriter, finance specialist, Big Four professional, or consultant with strong technical insurance experience.
