Commercial Finance Analyst

Location: Bristol, Leeds, or Marlow, United Kingdom; occasional home working possible with flexible hours.

What you will do

• Produce structured analysis of performance across a range of variables.
• Build and maintain recurring commercial finance reports, dashboards, and KPI packs for leadership and operational teams.
• Identify and implement improvements that make reporting robust and repeatable.
• Provide clear financial information to senior stakeholders for business performance discussions and decisions.
• Translate financial data into commercial recommendations and identify emerging risks and opportunities.
• Prepare and present findings clearly, ensuring non-financial stakeholders understand the analysis and its relevance.

Requirements

• Thorough approach with a high level of accuracy and numeracy.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, including the ability to distil complex data into clear insights.
• Clear communication skills and confidence presenting analysis to stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to build new analysis from first principles and improve existing work.

Nice to have

• Qualified accountant, such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
