Application Analyst (Healthcare)

Location: Madison, Wisconsin, United States. Ability to travel between local Exact Sciences locations and travel 5% of working time, including possible overnight or weekend travel.

Base pay: $61,300.00–$122,700.00 per year.

What you will do

• Design, configure, upgrade, and improve low-complexity business applications and technology platforms.
• Assess the impact of requested system changes, guide workflow design, configure and test changes, and analyze technical issues.
• Provide primary application support, troubleshoot issues, answer end-user questions, and support production issues through issue-tracking systems.
• Develop processes and procedures, maintain technical and system documentation, and contribute to peer design and code reviews.
• Work with business stakeholders, project leadership, subject matter experts, and software vendor implementation staff to align business needs with system delivery.
• Support training and end-user adoption while identifying opportunities to improve workflows and platform performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or a high school diploma/GED plus 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least 3 years of experience developing or configuring technology solutions in an application analyst or project delivery role.
• Understanding of industry best practices and strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, including internet navigation and email usage; proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, complex matrix environment; adapt to change and ambiguity; and learn new software applications.
• Ability to work nights and/or weekends as needed, maintain regular and reliable attendance, and use a computer, phone, mobile device, or tablet for approximately 90% of a typical working day.
• Ability to perform the essential duties with or without accommodation and uphold quality management system policies and procedures.

Nice to have

• Active Epic Prelude certification preferred, with Epic Identity and Epic Eligibility (RTE) certifications also preferred.
• Experience configuring business systems software in life sciences, healthcare, or a related industry.
