Sr. Technical Business Systems Analyst (Banking)

Location: On-site at the HQ in San Diego, California, United States

Salary: $100,000–$130,000 per year, plus eligible discretionary annual cash and restricted stock unit bonus targets of 10% each.

What you will do

• Develop strategies to optimize software systems and improve efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Product, Development, and technical leadership teams to define technical solutions and strategies.
• Document high-level technical specifications, proof of concepts, technical requirements, and non-functional requirements.
• Translate business requirements into user stories and detailed documentation for development teams.
• Support the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned software systems and maintain current technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in financial management, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of technical business analysis experience within the banking industry.
• Experience analyzing software applications, programs, or web services.
• Proficiency in Agile/SCRUM, including writing user stories and technical documentation.
• Hands-on experience across SDLC phases, including requirements gathering, testing, and deployment.
• Strong written, verbal, email communication, analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
