Production Supervisor (Chemical Operations)

hirify.globalon">Lochirify.globalon: Albany, Oregon, United States; manufacturing plant in Millersburg, Oregon. Onsite role with either a rothirify.globalng 12-hour shift (4 days on/4 days off, alternhirify.globalng days and nights) or a day shift schedule, determined by business need.

Salary: $64,000–$104,800 annual base pay plus shift differential.

What you will do

• Lead chemical production operhirify.globalons and a workforce of up to 20 direct reports to achieve safe, efficient throughput and production goals.
• Train, coach, motivate, and coordinate personnel while collaborhirify.globalng with engineering, quality, safety, and a unionized workforce.
• Plan department activities, monitor processes, identify problems and improvement opportunities, and lead improvement events.
• Interpret and enforce company policies and labor-agreement provisions.
• Apply task standardizhirify.globalon, write and update work-practice documents, and prevent recurrence of unplanned incidents.
• Establish production-management systems and coordinate training to maintain standard work, customer requirements, and production schedules.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
• Excellent written and verbal interpersonal and communichirify.globalon skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field.
• Supervisory experience in a union environment.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement concepts.
• Ability to use full-face respiratory protection if required.
