Associate Manufacturing Supervisor

Location: Pullman, Washington, United States; onsite manufacturing role.

Pay range: $31.00–$46.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Model SEL Values, leadership characteristics, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
• Direct a work group to support department production objectives and maintain accurate product flow across upstream and downstream areas.
• Monitor performance, provide feedback, coach and mentor employees, deliver performance reviews, and support goal setting.
• Assess training needs and provide or oversee employee training.
• Create and control work instructions and reports, and address quality issues using basic root cause and continuous improvement tools.
• Promote safety standards, support safety initiatives, and address personnel issues under guidance.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of leadership experience.
• Ability to model SEL Values and communicate professionally, respectfully, and openly with a diverse audience.
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and delegate work, and intervene to remove obstacles when needed.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and product flow in upstream and downstream areas.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and department business systems, including Lotus Notes, Dynamics AX, and SQS.
• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
• Ability to learn new skills, assume new responsibilities, and work cooperatively in a team environment.
• Satisfactory background check results and negative drug test results.

Nice to have

• College degree, BS or BA.
• Supervisory experience or training.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and department business systems, including Lotus Notes, Dynamics AX, and SQS.
