Associate Product Manager (AI)

Location: Macquarie Park, New South Wales, Australia; in-person collaboration is prioritized.

What you will do

• Support product managers across discovery, definition, and delivery for an internal agentic AI platform.
• Participate in user interviews and research sessions, synthesizing findings into product decisions.
• Write user stories, acceptance criteria, specifications, and Jira tickets for engineering delivery.
• Track release readiness and coordinate go-live activities.
• Work with Engineering and Design from problem framing through launch.
• Own a discrete product area within the first six months.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in product, business analysis, consulting, technical, or operations work.
• Strong clear writing skills, particularly for long-form specifications, briefs, and summaries.
• A bias toward action and comfort producing early drafts for feedback.
• Curiosity about how AI agents and platforms work and how users interact with them.
• Comfort working with ambiguity and asking clarifying questions.
• Ability to consider user problems and engineering trade-offs simultaneously.
• Interest in defining problems rather than only describing solutions.

Nice to have

• Exposure to enterprise software, IT operations, or technical delivery environments.
• Familiarity with Confluence, Jira, or similar tools.
• Background in design, engineering, or research.
• Comfort sketching ideas quickly, including with AI tools such as Lovable or v0.
