Product Management Manager (Spectroscopy & Chemical Standards)

Location: Mulgrave, Australia; remote work option available. Travel required 25% of the time.

What you will do

• Set the strategic direction, pricing, messaging, positioning, and configuration for the spectroscopy and chemical standard consumables portfolio.
• Lead product managers and application scientists developing data proofs, application collateral, and commercialization support.
• Partner with R&D, marketing, engineering, application development, manufacturing, and sales on product launches and business objectives.
• Manage market research, competitive analysis, voice-of-customer projects, market opportunities, sales funnels, and forecasts.
• Develop lead-generation plans and sales training that communicate product positioning and customer benefits.
• Create and deliver presentations at conferences, workshops, and customer sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, or Ph.D. in analytical chemistry or a related discipline.
• 5–10 years of product management experience highly desired.
• Experience in product management or marketing of spectroscopy and chemical standard consumables in applied markets.
• Knowledge of spectroscopy and chemical standard consumables, with a clear understanding of customer workflows and applications in these markets.
• Excellent people and interpersonal skills, including the ability to coach and advocate for team members.
• Proven ability to set measurable goals, establish priorities and timelines, and deliver against commitments.
• Marketing and market knowledge sufficient to define and commercialize products that support business success.
• Ability to collaborate with worldwide sales and marketing professionals to develop strategies and programs that meet revenue forecasts and growth targets.
• Experience working with worldwide customers, plus strategic thinking, teamwork, creativity, planning, execution, analytical, decision-making, verbal, written, and presentation skills.

Nice to have

• 3–5 years of practical experience with hirify.global spectroscopy and chemical standard consumables and applications.
