Product Manager - Automotive & AI Products

Location: Melbourne CBD, Australia; office-based role with right to work in Australia required.

What you will do

• Own the strategy and roadmap for Operator and automotive AI products in Australia.
• Set goals and metrics while tracking dealer adoption, conversion, and revenue impact.
• Define AI handling for vehicle enquiries, test drive bookings, and service appointments, including quality standards and escalation to human staff.
• Work with data and engineering teams to evaluate AI performance and prioritise improvements.
• Conduct weekly user research with dealer principals, sales, BDC, and service teams.
• Communicate product goals and results to the executive team and across the company.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of product management experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with messaging platforms or tools and growing user adoption.
• Experience shipping AI, LLM-based, or automation products, or a strong understanding of how they are built and evaluated.
• Strong grounding in customer research and prioritisation.
• Ability to communicate and present across multiple levels of leadership.
• Right to work in Australia.

Nice to have

• Experience in automotive retail or dealership software.
• Familiarity with Australian dealer groups, OEMs, and common DMS/CRM platforms.
• Experience with SaaS products for small and medium-sized businesses.
