Senior Engineer (React/TypeScript)

What you will do

• Build and ship React/Next.js interfaces for sign-up, onboarding, verification, discovery, and checkout.
• Own frontend performance, accessibility, analytics instrumentation, and reusable MUI design-system components.
• Develop backend services for onboarding, verification, activation, and the sign-up-to-purchase lifecycle using TypeScript/Node.js.
• Design event-driven, workflow-orchestrated systems that continuously evaluate account states and trigger activation, winback, or reactivation actions.
• Integrate identity verification, KYB/KYC, fraud, and risk providers with resilient monitoring and safe failure handling.
• Design experiments, analyze cohorts and funnel performance in SQL and Snowflake, and use AI agents to accelerate development while validating their output.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience and strong full-stack product engineering experience with ownership of customer-facing production features from UI through service.
• Deep experience with React, TypeScript, modern frontend practices, state management, performance, accessibility, and testing.
• Experience designing experiments, defining guardrail metrics, and distinguishing real results from noise.
• Experience with or appetite for workflow orchestration, workflow engines, or event pipelines that continuously evaluate state and trigger actions.
• Strong SQL and data-warehouse fluency, including independent cohort and funnel analysis using Snowflake or a similar platform.
• Comfort using AI agents to build and test software and draft analytical work, with the judgement to identify subtle errors in AI-generated output.
• High tolerance for ambiguity and ability to define problems without an established playbook.
• Practical fluency evaluating AI-generated copy, messaging, and suggested root causes before they are shipped.

Nice to have

• Direct experience integrating identity verification, KYB/KYC, or fraud and risk providers.
• Fintech-adjacent experience handling credit, payment, or other sensitive financial data responsibly.
• Experience in a high-growth marketplace or fintech environment with complex account lifecycles.
• Familiarity with Temporal, AWS Step Functions, Kafka, or similar workflow and event-streaming platforms.
