Senior Relationship Banker - Arcade Branch (Retail Banking)

Location: Onsite position in Arcade, New York, United States of America.

Salary: $22.61–$37.67 hourly (USD).

What you will do

• Develop, expand, and retain retail and business customer relationships through proactive outreach, portfolio management, sales activities, referrals, and follow-up.
• Manage customer assessments, sales opportunity profiling, account opening, appointment preparation, outbound calling, and relationship development plans.
• Evaluate financing requests, recommend loan structures, and submit complete loan application packages.
• Explain consumer debt, mortgage, HELOC, Business Banking, Treasury Management, and Merchant Services products and processes.
• Build referral relationships through community networking, Centers of Influence, business bankers, mortgage loan originators, and other business partners.
• Maintain compliance and risk controls, including KYC, CIP, fraud prevention, audits, regulatory requirements, and Federal SAFE Act registration requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and either at least 3 years of proven retail sales, call center, customer service, and/or telesales experience, or at least 2 years of proven proactive sales experience.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate tactfully and diplomatically with internal and external customers.
• Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Organization, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Demonstrated financial services product knowledge.
• Proficiency with internet user-level technology.
• Ability to stand for long periods, use hands and fingers for extended periods, read fine print, lift objects weighing 5 to 30 pounds, and use fax, telephone, copier, and other communication tools.
• Ability to interact with customers in an open, face-to-face work environment.

Nice to have

• Associate degree.
• Notary public license.
• At least 3 years of financial services sales experience.
• Bilingual ability based on branch needs.
