Senior Software Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Develop and own experimentation features across React/TypeScript clients, Python or GraphQL APIs, and relational databases, from design through on-call.
• Work with design partners and customers to create intuitive interfaces for setting up, managing, and analyzing experiments.
• Build AI-enabled workflows, including agent tools and skills for creating, validating, and analyzing experiments.
• Design evaluations that maintain the quality and reliability of AI-assisted workflows.
• Partner with data scientists to bring new experimentation methodology into the product.
• Participate in experiment reviews to understand platform usage and identify product gaps.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, shipping high-quality production code, including full-stack web applications on a modern stack.
• Strong front-end skills with React and TypeScript, including state management, data fetching, performance, and testing.
• Ability to design intuitive interfaces for data-rich or enterprise tools.
• Experience developing backend APIs in Python or a similar language, using GraphQL or comparable API design, and working with relational database storage.
• Hands-on AI experience: building with LLMs or agent tooling such as tools, skills, and evaluations, or fluency with AI-assisted development and the ability to verify its output.
• Experience working directly with customers and design partners to turn ambiguous needs into shipped, well-designed features.
• Clear communication skills.
