AI / MCP Developer (Python)

Location: Remote; candidates must be based in Argentina, Colombia, Peru, Uruguay, or Brazil

What you will do

• Build, test, deploy, and maintain MCPs connecting critical data sources such as Snowflake and SharePoint.
• Integrate databases, APIs, files, and other systems to expose data for Copilot workflows and collaborative AI workspaces.
• Refactor proof-of-concept code into robust production infrastructure that follows architectural and security standards.
• Design, test, and optimize prompts for VMCPs, AI skills, and plugins.
• Debug MCPs and systematically evaluate their performance against defined prompts.
• Collaborate with data engineering and platform teams on data pipelines and integrations.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on proficiency in Python and solid coding fundamentals with strong technical problem-solving skills.
• Proven experience building AI-driven solutions and working with MCPs; familiarity with the FAST MCP framework.
• Solid experience in prompt engineering and familiarity with AI assistant coding tools such as Claude Code, including cloud sub-agents, skills, and plugins.
• Good general knowledge of AWS.
• Experience integrating structured and unstructured data sources, including databases, APIs, SQL/ORMs, SharePoint, and files.
• Advanced or bilingual English at C1 or above.
• High autonomy, with the ability to independently take tickets, research solutions, and deliver work from concept to completion.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting progress and explaining technical blockers to the core team.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly Terraform.
• Familiarity with Agent Core or similar agent-side development frameworks.
• Experience in financial services, hedge funds, or investment sectors.
