Senior Business Analyst (Product Owner)

Location: Remote, CDMX, Mexico and one additional location

What you will do

• Own the product vision, roadmap, backlog, delivery health, lifecycle, and user experience for assigned enterprise data, analytics, or AI products.
• Define product goals, success metrics, value drivers, acceptance criteria, and readiness standards.
• Act as the primary interface between the Chief Data Office and business, finance, and functional leaders; prioritize demand, manage trade-offs, and align delivery with business timelines.
• Translate business needs into actionable requirements and work with Program Managers, Scrum Masters, engineering, analytics, and delivery teams to plan releases and manage dependencies.
• Partner with Data Governance, Data Stewards, and Platform Owners on KPI definitions, data quality, lineage, trust, architecture, and security standards.
• Drive adoption, operational readiness, post-launch support, feedback cycles, and reporting on usage, value realization, delivery, and next steps.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Business Analysis, Analytics, or data-centric roles.
• Proven ability to own roadmaps, backlogs, and stakeholder relationships in a complex enterprise environment.
• Strong understanding of data, reporting, analytics, or BI platforms, such as Power BI, Databricks, and data warehouses.
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models with engineering and analytics teams.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to translate between business objectives and technical execution.

Nice to have

• Experience in a Chief Data Office, Analytics, or Enterprise Reporting organization.
• Familiarity with data governance, semantic models, KPI standardization, and self-service analytics.
• Experience supporting finance, operations, or enterprise-wide reporting domains.
• Experience working in a vendor-heavy environment and transitioning toward greater internal ownership.
