Customer Program Manager (Semiconductor)

Location: München, Germany; international travel required.

What you will do

• Lead complex, cross-functional customer programs from early engagement through execution and delivery.
• Establish and manage program governance covering milestones, KPIs, risks, dependencies, decisions, and actions.
• Coordinate customers with engineering, operations, quality, supply chain, and commercial teams.
• Translate customer priorities and commitments into clear actions, owners, and timelines.
• Provide transparent status reporting, identify and mitigate risks, and escalate issues proactively.
• Lead customer and internal reviews while improving program-management processes, templates, and reporting standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, business, project management, or a related field.
• Strong experience managing complex, cross-functional projects or programs in an international environment.
• Proven project and program management skills covering schedules, dependencies, risks, actions, and stakeholder alignment.
• Strong customer-facing communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to influence and drive decisions across global matrix organizations without direct reporting authority.
• Structured and analytical approach with strong ownership and execution mindset.
• Professional fluency in English and willingness to travel internationally.

Nice to have

• Experience in customer program management, technical program management, product development, or management consulting.
• Experience in semiconductors, electronics, automotive, industrial, aerospace and defense, or another complex technology industry.
• Familiarity with semiconductor development, manufacturing, supply chain, or product industrialization.
• Project or program management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA, or equivalent.
• Experience with KPI-based program reporting and common program-management tools.
