Expert Program Business Manager (Public Sector)

Location: Onsite at a customer site in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, USA. Full-time schedule, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Salary: $145,456–$193,940 annually in Washington state; actual pay varies by location, skills, experience, and other factors.

What you will do

• Track program and project deliverables, monitor timelines and commitments, and provide status updates.
• Maintain accurate PMO artifacts, reporting data, centralized document libraries, and standardized technical and management templates.
• Support project, program, and portfolio activities including process analysis, mapping, optimization, reporting, market research, and internal communications.
• Translate business processes into actionable workflows, dashboards, and reporting tools.
• Maintain IT lifecycle documentation and supporting materials for Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies.
• Define and maintain engineering SDLC artifacts, architecture standards, and governance processes; oversee enterprise SDLC reviews and change management.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• One of the following education and relevant-experience combinations within the last 15 years: high school diploma/GED and 12 years; associate's degree and 10 years; bachelor's degree and 8 years; master's degree and 6 years; or PhD and 4 years.
• Experience tracking, monitoring, and updating the status of program deliverables.
• Experience applying processes to ensure data currency, validity, and relevance.
• Experience maintaining PMO document libraries and building repositories of technical and management project templates.
• Experience supporting project, program, and portfolio-level business process analysis, mapping, improvements, reporting, market research, and internal outreach and communications.
• Experience translating business processes into workflows and dashboards.
• Experience maintaining IT lifecycle documentation and supporting materials for Waterfall and Agile methodologies, including engineering SDLC and architecture artifacts, standards, enterprise SDLC reviews, and change management compliance.
