Sr. Demand Planning Manager

Location: Santa Clara, California; primarily in-office at the Santa Clara office.

Annual base salary: $168,000–$252,000 USD. The role may also be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.

What you will do

• Build and maintain a master demand signal by synthesizing demand from Sales, Product Management, Finance, and key customer accounts.
• Develop inventory strategies that mitigate component shortages and Excess & Obsolescence exposure across product lifecycles.
• Partner with component suppliers, flash drive manufacturers, and server contract manufacturers on request-commit processes and supply commitments.
• Lead executive-level forecast intelligence in monthly and quarterly Sales and Operations Planning forums.
• Analyze supply-chain trends, geopolitical dynamics, and component-market shifts to model attach rates, fill rates, and commodity projections.
• Optimize demand-planning tools, data models, and automated workflows to improve forecasting precision and scalability.

Requirements

• Proven experience in demand forecasting, master production scheduling, and finished-goods or component planning within technology, hardware, or hyperscale infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience collaborating directly with contract manufacturers.
• Deep technical and commercial understanding of hardware architectures and global commodity supply dynamics across compute, storage, networking, and critical sub-assemblies.
• Experience with CPUs, NAND, DRAM, and PCIe/HBA cards.
• Expertise using ERP systems, demand-management platforms, and advanced analytical tools to create inventory strategies and statistical forecasts.
• Ability to align Sales, Finance, Product Management, and external executive vendor partners and translate supply-chain data into S&OP recommendations.
• Track record of continuous operational improvement, scalable supply-chain workflow design, and adoption or integration of ERP/S&OP planning tools in high-growth environments.
• Expected to work from the Santa Clara office, except during PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
