Implementation Lead (SaaS)

What you will do

• Lead the configuration and customization of the SaaS platform based on client requirements, business needs, product best practices, and industry standards.
• Translate customer requirements into scalable system configurations and collaborate with business analysts, product teams, and development teams on solution delivery.
• Act as the primary implementation contact, facilitate requirements sessions and solution reviews, advise clients on platform capabilities, and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Develop testing strategies, support user acceptance testing and production readiness, troubleshoot configuration issues, and coordinate post-deployment support.
• Create implementation documentation, configuration guides, workflows, training materials, and knowledge-transfer resources.
• Improve implementation methodologies, processes, and tools; contribute to standards and best practices; and mentor junior implementation team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in software implementation, SaaS configuration, solution delivery, or related technical consulting roles.
• Experience leading enterprise or government client implementations and complex, multi-stakeholder software implementations.
• Experience managing multiple implementation projects simultaneously and working directly with customers in a consultative, client-facing capacity.
• Experience working with government, public sector, or highly regulated organizations.
• Experience with Agile project delivery methodologies.
• Strong experience configuring and customizing SaaS platforms or enterprise software solutions.
• Working knowledge of databases, data integrations, and web-based technologies; strong understanding of software implementation methodologies and deployment practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, project planning, prioritization, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills; ability to influence stakeholders and drive cross-functional decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and support team members.

Nice to have

• Professional certifications in project management, implementation, business analysis, or related disciplines.
• Experience with APIs, data mapping, and system integrations.
• Familiarity with SQL, scripting languages, or other technical tools.
