Implementation Manager (SaaS)

Location: Remote in the USA; expected to work Pacific Time hours.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary client contact throughout end-to-end onboarding, including kickoff meetings, requirements gathering, implementation guidance, and transition from sales to adoption.
• Carry out project management activities, including scope control, reliable communication, risk and opportunity evaluation, and change-management support.
• Configure system settings, workflows, integrations, and out-of-the-box functionality to meet client requirements while minimizing customizations.
• Prepare data and initial data loads in Excel, write simple scripts, and author ad hoc customer reports when required.
• Collaborate with sales, product management, customer success, and technical support to resolve issues and deliver a coherent client experience.
• Develop and deliver client training, maintain implementation documentation and user guides, and contribute to improved implementation processes and methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business, Computer Science, or Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a client-facing implementation role, preferably in the SaaS industry.
• Strong understanding of software implementation processes, methodologies, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport, collaborate with clients and internal teams, and lead workshops.
• Technical aptitude, ability to learn and navigate new software applications quickly, and ability to identify and address implementation challenges.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Nice to have

• High comfort level with Excel.
• Experience designing and documenting reports generated from relational databases, including SSRS or Power BI.
• Experience with CRM, ERP, or other enterprise software implementations, particularly GovTech.
• Familiarity with Jira, Cloud Coach, Autotask, Asana, or similar software for project tracking and time management.
